Curriculum

The MSc Program in "Physical Principles of Biomedical Imaging and Radiation Protection" provides specialized knowledge on the fundamental physical principles of biomedical imaging, as well as modern radiation protection methods. The program consists of ten (10) compulsory courses covering topics such as ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, the biological effects of radiation, radiation protection, medical image processing and analysis, among others.

The curriculum is structured into three (3) academic semesters. During the first two semesters, students attend courses that offer both theoretical and applied knowledge, while in the third semester, they undertake their Master’s Thesis. The total number of ECTS credits required for the Master’s Degree is ninety (90) ECTS.

The language of the courses the MSc Program is Greek. The Master's Thesis can be written in either Greek or English.
